Rich County, Utah

Dave, K7PDW and Chris, KB7EEG are the early leaders in the "Most Difficult Weather Conditions County Line Operation" competition.    Per Dave:

"KB7EEG and I were snowed out of our planned location.    I was never able to get on the air and Chris was on only briefly before the blizzard hit.    Evanston, Wyoming had eight inches of snow (ed: !).    We were in Rich County Utah near there and at a higher altitude operating from our pickups.    We were both glad we had four wheel drive.

These pictures were taken during a break in the weather.    Note the bow in the ladder line.    That is not sag -- that is caused by the north wind."
